Lunar Mansion (rgyu skar)

One of 27 star constellations that the Moon passes through each month. Each mansion has an associated element affecting compatibility.

Yoga (sbyor ba)

A combination of Sun and Moon positions creating 27 different qualities, from auspicious to challenging.

Karana (byed pa)

Half of a lunar day, creating 11 types that repeat through the month. Vishti (the 7th) is generally considered inauspicious.
